Sorry we’ve been missing in action lately… this time of year there is so much going on in Philly… and our jam-packed social lives (ha) leave little time for blogging…
Anyway, last week, my girl posse and I (aka; Margaux and Haley, aka; The Wicked Witches of Philadelphia) were at one of the super important Phillies games… the type where everyone gets so excited and happy that our team won that they lose their minds, wallets and cell phones (Hey Kenny). We were at the Piazza along with the rest of the city when we decided that we were tired of pretending to be interested in baseball and that we would rather go drink . We were sitting at Dos Segundos when I overheard this dude at the bar say to his friend, “Yo, did you see [some semi attractive dude I have been into]? It looks like someone vacuumed his neck, it’s covered in hickies.” I looked at Margaux to make sure I was correct in my eavesdropping and that I heard what I thought I heard. I definitely heard it. Normally, this type of small town gossip wouldn’t be such a big deal… except for what had happened the night before.
My mama told me, “Go to school, get your doctorate….but still supported me when I did the opposite.”
